Stud8 - playing low hand with gutshot

Seat 3 is a shortstacker, only has $80 at beginning of hand. Seems to be playing every hand since he sat down.
Seat 5 is decent at the game, although likes high pairs too much.
Seat 7 is bad, aggro donk, he is part of my other two recent threads too.

I'm not sure why I didn't complete 3rd. I think because hearts were dead and 4 and 6s too. Also, I feel that this is the only type of hand that I am completing in early position, so I like to mix it up or something. IDK, does this have any merit?

What do you think about 4th, 6th and 7th?

i guess 3rd to 4th are okay cuz a lot of ur cards are dead. but not raising 6th sucks.

Yeah, I tend to put in too little money with made lows when I don't have a board lock.

I know I kinda don't know the strength of his hand since I didn't raise on 3rd ... is this a very easy raise to make on 6th? How do I know he didn't just make a better low and wants to string me along?

it just doesn't make any sense for him to have a better low. there are only a few combos of better lows meanwhile there are sooo many possible other weaker low draws and pair+ low draw combos he could have. also given both your and seat 3's boards, it's unlikely that he would thinking that both of you wouldn't call a raise.
