Default Stud8 - drawing to a high hand

Does drawing to a high here suck? I was berated by this play, but I feel that the berater isn't the most credible source for game play.

What is my river line?

Your river line is obviously a check.

Every other street is pretty marginal..i'd continue on but i wouldn't like it. Als i'd probably raise on 3rd if want to play. It's not a great hand but their is no shame in letting go on fourth if to many people come along.

3rd and 4th seem OK, but I would fold 5th.

the only mistake u made was not completing 3rd. completing thins the field and allows you to take down the pot sometimes without hitting a hand.

Betgo- you have to be kidding about folding 5th. we have a pair + completely livefl draw + overcards up against 3 low hands. so we have 9 essentialy lock outs for the high plus numerous twopair/trip outs that will most likely win the high.

7th-- i probably would have checked as well, planning to checkraise. it's really strange that both of them checked.

Maybe he didn't notice the hearts? I didn't, in my first casual read.

There's no point at which I fold. Maybe you raise third street. Folding fifth would be mildly ridiculous. I'd lean towards betting the river. It doesn't really look like either of them has a monster low, and people have a tendency to wimp out on the end with weak lows.
