On the river against twin I think this is a good check fold. But assuming I had no history with him, I would probably bet/call the flop.

pot it and call a 2/3 pot-sized shove, yeah.

If you're really desperate to get the money in so badly, how about crai instead of BET [censored] CALL?

it's twp - he puts his opponent on exactly what cards he needs to have pot odds to call

so obv he's got a flush draw, or AJ, or 89.

Am I crazy for being pretty happy about value shoving river? The king is such a bluff card for us on the turn and there is no reason why we can't two barrel it. I feel like on the turn he has some pair less than a king probably w/ one heart alot.

Villain would have probably shoved any good made hand like sets, two pair on the turn, so you can discount it from his range. I also think he would have bet this flop with a flushdraw? Which also makes it less likely for him to have a flush. He would have bet J9/KJ on the flop and probably 4bet AK preflop.

He also wouldn't bluff the river with AhJx since he has showdown value, or some sort of other hand with showdown value...

This means there's not a whole bunch of hands left that beat you. Maybe QT, a slowplayed flush or K9 (unlikely). He could have called the turn to push you of on the river, or he called the turn with 1 heart and also tries to push you off. With this in mind a rivercall wouldn't be too bad imo.

I would bet/fold or c/r flop allin though. Bet/calling seems pretty spewy.

i think bet/calling this flop is terrible. i think this is fine as played i'd shove river. given the check i'd c/f.
