The Iran song is pretty good - I think Armisen looks pretty hilarious imitating Ahmadinejad - but I do worry a little bit about Samberg getting into a rut of pop star + song = comedy. It's a lot like how the Natalie Portman rap right after Lazy Sunday just seemed derivative and unfunny.

My main complaint about SNL is that there's too much of a tendency to rerun skits and characters that weren't even funny the first time. But I agree with the general sentiment that the cast is strong (I'm not sure there are any real stinkers in it), and I still watch it pretty regularly.
