My guess is that you need 40% equity to 3bet oop when the bb is yet to act. So buttons steal % needs to be about 45 if my equity number is correct.

can you please explain to me why? Do you think we have too much hand to not push equity edge pf? 45/5's usually don't fold pf after they've put in one bet, so are you saying that you would rather invest the extra sb to try and drive BB out?

fwiw, I also consider qjo and kto to be similar here (kjo is prob must-raise?). Also let's assume 1/2 blind structure.

I would prolly call KJo and QJo here. KTo and A9o are close. I doubt calling is a a big -EV play.
