Default Weird spot vs Pearljammer

This is early in the tilt 320 sat to Australia. Normally i think PJ would lead like the vast majority of his range into 3 players. When he checked and i bet, it folded quickly to him then he tanked a while and put in this raise.

We've played plenty together and i'm sure he thinks i'm capable of firing light on this flop, so i actually thought there was a decent chance he was shooting back really wide on the flop. Is that totally retarded or actually makes some sense.

He thought for about 3-5 seconds before shoving turn.

calling the flop vs him is not good if you're not calling here

that said, i think he's got a set, because he's always got a set!

Cause he'll limp behind the limper with 22/33 almost always.

oh gawd i just noticed you werent pfr, that makes the hand weirder, and he's a huge donk for checking the flop wiht KK/AA, i am bad at paying attention to threads

edit: he's a huge donk becuase he plays badly, but also a huge donk in this instance for the way he played this hand, regardless of holding

Yea i agree Jones. Basically his line makes zero sense to be a decent hand, so i start clicking call button.

I agree with everyone that his line makes no sense whatsoever here. I'm not sure that therefore he must be bluffing necessarily follows.

You did bet into 3 people on the flop, so he's probably inclined to give you credit for at least some sort of hand. And when you call his C/R, that signals that you do have a hand, possibly a very strong one. You can only beat a stone cold bluff here, do you think he's pulling one off this early? Not to mention, if his inclination was to try to bluff his way through this hand, why did he not just bet the flop?

A hand that beats you makes no sense (unless it's exactly 77, and you have one 7), a bluff makes no sense, I'd be inclined to think he's not bluffing and fold on the flop. As played, I'd fold the turn.

I think your good on the flop like never. FWIW Everyone saying his line sucks I sort of agree but if he gets bond to stack off TPNK maybe its not such a bad line.

If he's leveling here to a degree, i think it's way more likely to be "i have air but villain bet button on raggy board so CR will look sick strong so i raise" than "i have monster so i check and when villain bets button with 1 pair he'll assume that i assume his bet must be full of [censored] and that i'm therefore bluffing him but AH HA i in fact have the nizzles so i'll stack his 1 pair."

I think if anything happened here its a case of "I has the nizzles so i check..... OOOOOH YEAAAA! They be stacking off to my nizzles!"
