moving up in absolute
Hey guys,
Just a quick query regarding moving up from 100NL in Absolute poker. Ive come back to playing SSNL after playing tournies and limit for quite a while and started at 100NL as I had an appropriate bankroll. My roll has doubled over the past month or so to 4k(approx 30k hands) with a win rate of 8bb/100 hands. I want to now go to 200NL as I have the roll and I believe I have the ability. Only problem is that Absolute has recently introduced the bad beat jackpot and it seems that none of the 100NL tables are bad beat jackpot whereas 90% of the 200NL tables are BBJ(hence higher rake). I hate the jackpot tables due to the rake but I want to play 200NL. How should I deal with this? Play the bad beat jackpot tables?.... try another site for the 200NL (rakeback required) ? or wait and build my roll and skip the 200 NL (unadvisable I would imagine). |

Re: moving up in absolute
Wait until you have 6k (bare minimum) to move up to 1/2. If you plan on buying for 200bbs, then wait till 10k. As far as rake is concerned, no clue.

Re: moving up in absolute
BTW on absolute 100NL are blinds of 0.25/0.50, 200NL is 0.5/1 and 400NL is 1/2.
