Cool! I'm in. Hopefully this won't be our "vip offer" for January. But I wouldn't be surprised if it was.

I'm wondering if just anyone with the qualifying amount of hands will be able to enter. I hope not, but it wouldn't surprise me.

First email I got about this said that first prize would be 20 000, but I don't know anything else about the payout structure.

The information about this freeroll was on the bottom of the email we received about the playing 25,000 points to win the Cruise Package. I believe it is only VIP players, first place is 20k. I would think the rest of the payout structure would be their normal payout structure which is based on number of players.

I'm in. I'm not sure how many VIPs there are overall, but hopefully there won't be too many players in this one.

"Dear Bob,

Thank you for contacting our Customer Care team.

You are correct you have earned enough points to enter the tournament
and you will be able to register in 2/3 hours."

I'm assuming this means 2-3 hours.

I still haven't received the 'official' type of confirmation that I'm in it. And I still am not able to register for it.

Annoying.

My feeling is that they are ssending out and setting up the invites for this thing one at a time (or something like that).
For whatever reason they are having delays getting everybody eligible set up to register for it.

this is the 21st century afterall and a billion-dollar company. So I think having such an antiquated system that doesn't take care of these things automatically is pretty ridiculous.

(On stars...you will note that immediately upon reaching silver or gold or platinum there is no delay in signing-up for the various freerolls for which you become eligible)
