I would have checked 6th, it's one of those weird hands where you're never sure where you are. Too bad about not hitting.

I would bet the river. Otherwise, I'd probably play it the same.

And I don't bet the river because I think it's +EV. In fact, it's most likely -EV, but I do it for metagame purposes, because it will get me action on my good hands -- anyone who sees me do this is likely to call me down light the next time we're in a situation where they're drawing dead.

Actually, with 99% certainty I know where I am. What I don't know is that if my opponent will fold a x,y,3,8,9 at 6th, and if he will fold at 7th if he doesn't improve.

I don't think he's folding anything. If he called on 3rd with a Ten, he's going to look you up.

I'd check 7th.

At these stakes a check behind is probably better at 6th (since he'll probably call you behind as a favourite). Higher I bet 6th and 7th against opponents able to fold and check behind/fold if UI against cs.
BTW I just wouldn't metagame at micros. Save it for 5/10+
