Default Ultimate Bet Security

I received the following email, and found that my ultimate bet username is no longer recongnised although I had just played a tournament that morning. I rang the number and was asked to give information on my security, like my password question and I was reluctant to do so. I was then transferred and asked the same questions about security but I wasn't willing to give over my details for a reason which was not explained to me. I've never had this with any other poker site, Does anyone know if this is fully legitimate? Thanks:

Due to a routine security check, your account has been temporarily disabled because we need to verify the information used to create your account. We kindly ask if you can call us back at our toll free number 800-051-8957 (UK phone number), so we can certify your account over the phone. We will gladly reactivate your account as soon as we have certified it.
Thank you for understanding.

Dear Mr.,

Unfortunately, we can not place th money back in your card since we do
not have that method available for cash outs and for all methods the
documentation requested is necessary.

Unfortunately no transactions will be processed unless we received the
requested documents.

Unfortunately what you don't understand is, I want the
money deposited into this account (UB Account) put
BACK on my credit card immediately. You have no right
to hold funds that belong to me and my account no
matter what. They were cleared from my personal
account to my (UB) account I want them back NOW.

Ultimate Bet owners = Absolute Poker.

You make your own decision about whether they are legit.

yeah, i just got a phone call today asking me the same stuff. they asked me about my credit card deposits and my email address and so forth. It seemed like the person already had all the information in front of them and just wanted to verify the info they had. I gave it to them and he said everything is fine. I'm still not feeling 100% good about it..not sure if it was a legit phone call or not. not sure what i can do about it.

answering a phone call and telling someone your credit card and other personal details - when you have no way of verifying who you are talking to - is incredibly risky and dangerous.

How can this be?
Does the AP incident affect UltimateBet and if yes in what ways?
