How easy is it to get to NYC assuming you have no car?

[/ QUOTE ]

Not sure. I drive in on I95 from the South, then AC Expressway. I95 keeps going right into NYC. If you find a ride, I think it is a pretty easy drive.

It's a pretty easy drive but takes about 2.5 hours. As for alternate transportation, there's pretty much only a bus. You could go north to a place like Point Pleasant Beach, and then take a train directly into NYC from there, etc.

White Horse Pike in Absecon has some decent hotels/motels, 10-12 minutes from the Borg. As for the events, obviously great structure makes for a good event.

You just need to take the AC expressway to The Garden State Parkway all the way up to the George Washington Bridge and follow the signs. It might take closer to 3.5 hours depending on traffice conditions.

The Greyhound to NYC is cheap and painless... leaves at least every hour... it's like $30 round trip and puts you right in mid-town manhatten.

yes.. if by painless you mean terrible!! who wants to sit on a bus for 4 hours? why not just take a train.. probably a million times less gross than a bus full of smellies going from atlantic city to nyc.

Okay guys, Ihave some dumb questions for you.

What tourney do you have to play in to get the poker rate?

What's the cheapest one I have to play in? Do I have to play in one each day I stay? So 2 days = 2 tourneys?

Thanks for all the info guys.

Any tournament qualifies. We got the rate from my gf playing in the ladies event ($300). I believe you're supposed to play one day for each night you stay.

However, I think they're pretty lax about checking. I think I got the one day of play = one night from when we reserved the room, but when we got there they never made us verify we actually played in anything.

Bring some decent cash, from what I hear the big stakes games are sick.
