Curtains-

I've asked this question on the noob thread as well but figured I'd ask it here too, (Devin basically led me in the right direction.)

I suck when I'm "ITM"...i just don't feel comfortable playing in that phase of a tournament.. Preflop,Bubble time,..and even post-flop (I play a little cash too)..all fine..Once i get in the money; clueless..or just awkward..not nearly as confident about what decisions to make.

Anyway,..how would you go about improving your ITM (3-handed play)??..assuming your problem was a lot of 3rd place finishes..Was there something you read?..Did you practice playing HU?..

Also, although i do come in shortstacked often when ITM..not enough to account for the # of 3rd place finishes..I'm pretty sure i suck at HU. (sngpt HU tutorial..I'm looking into it)..

Nevertheless, I figured I'd ask you because you posted your finish distribution and had a nice ratio of 1/2/3 place finishes..that's all. Thanks for any help.

Also what countries have you been to? ..besides Iceland.

Hey, honestly there is no real way to answer this question quickly. I have never actually felt like I had a specific problem at any phase of the game. Basically they are all a little bit different but general sit and go, poker and math principles still apply. I don't understand why some people have such difficulty playing ITM, on the bubble, in the middle stages etc etc.

So basically I'm of no help

In regards to your second question I've also been to Brazil, Spain, England and the Netherlands.

Why did you come here? What places did you visit? Did you like it?

Was there when I was about 16/17. I went to a little town named Guara Puava as it was hosting a big chess tournament. Was probably the best 2 weeks of my teenage years

It was near Curitiba if that makes any sense?

On the way home I spent one night in Sao Paulo but only because there was a delay with the flight.
