Problem is that it's hard to come up with weaker hands that call me here. I have all the tens, so unless the guy somehow has a jack or king, it's very hard to expect a call, and of course even if he has a ten he's not super likely to call. Meanwhile I feel like people don't checkraise the river so much when the pot is this big compared to the stack sizes, but perhaps it's hard to say this about someone who is 45 9. |

I bet this here all day. I wouldn't make a huge bet, but whatever you think he'll call with a marginal hand. Like 1/2 pot. I also have found out if they're a station preflop, they tend to be a station postflop.

Re: $400 Do you bet this river against 45 9 player?
I really think that the guy having an agression of 9 is going for a check-raise here on the river, especially with the quick check. I also dont see any real hands that will call your river bet, JT, KT, 66, 44 would call but I think his range on hands that might have you beat or that will not call the river bet are a lot more then the hands that will call you bet. So I would just check it.

Sorry I meant 45 9 as in 45 VPIP and 9 PFR. His aggression is like 2. Meant to post that, my fault.

Oh ok... I would still check the river since I really dont see anything worse calling you in this situation.

Re: $400 Do you bet this river against 45 9 player?
Let's say you think for a while, decide that if he check raises hes almost definitely not bluffing you, and eventually decide to bet 50, hoping for a call from some random weak hand. Then let's say he min check raises you |

Re: $400 Do you bet this river against 45 9 player?
well I would say your almost forced to call since you are only calling $50 to win $250. Even though you are msot likely beat.
Learn to check the river in scary situation like this one, going to save you a lot of money |

I love when my advice is always wrong I think you have to call river, and pray he turns over a lower set.
