Re: another program I want...
you would be better off not even seeing his hole cards. You put him on a calling range, decided to push, hands over, what he has is irrelevent. If you never see his cards, you wont know if you sucked out or got bad beat.

Re: another program I want...
How about a program that blares, "Ship it!" through your speakers after winning an all-in?
Or if you were dominated pre-flop but ended up winning, it screams, "Suckout!" And of course if you were dominating preflop and ended up losing, the classic, "[censored]!" or "Doh!" This would actually be kind of nice, since you'd immediately know w/o seeing the table if you won the hand or not. |

[/ QUOTE ] No I have to see his hole cards of course, becaues its very important to know if he sucks and how he plays for future decisions. The flop/turn and river are however totally irrelevant and if they cause me even the slightest distraction on occasion, it would be best if I didn't see them. I know this may sound like Im joking, but I actually seriously want this to exist. |

I am a former computer scientist/software engineer, so I am going against education and background for suggesting this:
Put a piece of cardboard over the screen when that comes up. |

Re: another program I want...
Dude the point is I play 8-10 games at the same time, so this isn't really practical. The reason for doing this is to not take away my focus from a table where a decision needs to be made, because out of the corner of my eye Im trying to watch the flop. |

Re: another program I want...
I was considering making one of these programs recently also, as I sometimes get tilty after seeing runner runner flush suckouts repeatedly.

Re: another program I want...
Curtains,
You don't need a program, just some practice. When your opponent's hold cards are exposed, look at them. Then, go to your next decision at your next table and make it. Then make the next one. Repeat this process until you see a popup saying you busted out or until you see someone calling you an idiot in the chat box. Its a little tough at first, but after a couple of days you won't even think to sweat the board cards. And you'll give the time box less chances to screw you. |
