The 2007 Perseid meteor shower starts tonight at about 9.00pm.

Look for Perseid Earthgrazers - the long, slow and colourful meteors that make camping out all night worthwhile.

Yes starting 10pm (9pm uk time) through to monday sometime is going to be the best time. Reckon about 100 an hour at some points.

It's from 10pm your time, wherever you are. The show will last all night.

The ones I've seen so far have been coming from NE, but they're so bright you just have to look straight up and they'll catch your attention.

I was up till 3:AM local time (scandinavia) and didn't see a single one [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]
