Default PPA Newsletter -- New Congressional Ltrs & TPs for the Regs

Today, on the year anniversary of the signing of the UIGEA into law, PPA members recieved a newsletter via email. Here is a web-based link to the PPA Oct. newsletter :
http://www.pokerplayersalliance.org/newsletter.html

Please note that we have updated our Congressional letter writing tool, so you can send a new message to your U.S. Reps and Senators. Thank you to the 2+2 forum for helping us develop the language for these new letters.

We've also posted more information and talking points about the proposed regulations. I hope everyone will take a moment to both send a new letter to Congress and comment on the proposed regs.

Letters sent. Thank you for your continuing efforts to save poker.

Just a thought, but have you considered something like a "point system" to reward those who send these letters to their elected officials? It wouldn't have to be anything significant; maybe entry into a freeroll or a coffee cup after 5 or 10 letters. I could be wrong, but judging by the PPA forum there aren't as many active members as there could be. I don't think members of this forum fall into the "inactive" category, but it might help motivate the "fish".

Anyway, just a thought. Keep up the good work.

Thanks John.

Everyone: Please try to send our letter by tomorrow evening, so Congress will receive them in time for the fly-in. It will take less than one minute. Thanks!

Perhaps he'll one day wonder why he's polling 1% in the GOP primary. I'm glad you're letting him know part of the reason.
