Turbo muck.

I'm somewhat indifferent to the C-bet - you have the best hand a fair amount, but neither guy is folding, like ever.

[/ QUOTE ]

sethypooh,
I have not bothered stoving this but I'd lay 5:1 that you do not have an equity edge on this flop.

nm, did the stove vs. two random hands and you have 20% equity. C-bet is horrible.

Just as an equity calc, sure. But that's not the only reason. Is there even a 10% chance you win the pot right there? Dunno. But C-betting also makes the turn much easier to play. What happens if Heis checks behind and the turn action is the same? It's gone from easy fold to WTF?

Again, all in all, I don't like the C-bet, but it's not horrible.

cool stove work. pretty sure i check more flops after pfring than anyone here. i usually check here. i only say it's debatable because i know most people here bet 100% of the time 3-way.

sethypooh

Since they're agro you're getting c/r'ed a ton.

P[you catch a pair on the turn and its good] > P[they both fold to your c-bet].

Do you agree? I am not claiming this is a complete argument but I don't think its particularly close so I'm too lazy to tighten it up.

I retract my horrible comment if it hurt your feelings

The equity calc is kind of pointless for these situations cause most hands have like 25% equity that we're ahead of... many which will fold on the flop.

But I htink its a check because playtights should make a play at me a good % of the time, and I dont have any firepower to fight back..

If not, hes seeing the turn 100% of the time.. Im NEVER winning it on this flop.

if the turn is a low card ill proabily be able to win it if its just me and him HU on the turn.. but im not sure if thats enough random events to make it profitble..

considering all the times im c/r on the flop or they hit a pair

those are pretty compelling arguments for not c-betting this flop. I'm in the "c-bet 100% 3 ways" camp, so this is very interesting to me.

This is like one of the worst flops to c-bet. You're getting calling or raised in at least one spot at least 80% of the time.

I am a little surprised at preflop. Sure, your hand is okay, and UTG+1 is bad, but it's still a bit less hand than I'd usually isolate with. Is it standard for everybody else?
