Hi Pudge,

I read your bio and this stands out:

I won $80 in a MTT, note I lost a race TT>KQ HU another MTT I didn't win. With those winnings I grinded $2 SNGs. I had a big downswing moved down. Somehow I ended up having $3k.

what happened here?

pudge, what do you think max achievable ROI is at the 114s on stars 8 tabling?

thanks.

ps sorry if this has been asked already

[/ QUOTE ]
10%. You could probably get higher if you game selected really well. That's assuming the games haven't massively changed in the last 6 weeks.

In your sngicons blog, were you referring to anyone specific with your "I like when other people run bad" entry?

[/ QUOTE ]
Not really. I was just running bad and read some BBV threads or talked to some people on AIM and thought hey I'm not the only one who is running bad maybe I'm good at this game.

How large of a sample size is necessary to determine bad play vs. bad luck? I played about 10k sngs last year and was around 9% ROI and now I'm even over my last 2,500. I wonder how much is attributable to the games getting tougher and how much of it is just getting doom switched.

[/ QUOTE ]
It probably has a fair amount to do with the games getting tougher if you want you can try doing some calculation with confidence intervals.

Not sure. I guess I just moved $2s,$5s,$10s, $20s, $30s, but I had like 2-3k on FTP when I started I just have no [censored] clue how I built that up.

Are you planning on still playing the pp 109's-215's? You haven't mentioned them in your blog for a while.

I was on the button and I came across a 3 handed situation (300/600A) that came out of power tools as a +.2 equity. I believe my calling ranges were accurate. No one was a rock or a complete donk. At this point, do I take a small equity push or can I pass up on this?

I was searching for something else and found this thread I realized that I hadn't answered all the questions. So here goes.

You were solid, I think you played too less in early game, which might not be that big a leak as I have had some interesting thoughts about SNGs recently. Gramps said this in an earlier post, but it is tough to tell specific leaks in good regs.

I guess at the time of this thread, I was, but I probably was working or something, now I am a breakeven 2/4 player.
