PS Little Yellow Star

I was playing at a NL cash game the other day and someone had a little yellow star at the top of their player icon. I tried finding out what that was about, but I've come up empty. Anyone know? Thx.

I saw one on someone in the SN Freeroll as well. I always though the star indicated a play money player. But not sure anymore.

The silver stars indicate .net players. I'm not sure about gold ones though, but I do remember having seen someone with one before.
