From the title I thought the contents of the post would be completely different.

I really don't see a problem w/ this. Is it because the kids who got 2nd, 3rd or 4th took AP courses and didn't get the proper recognition? Or that she's getting too much recognition? Does anyone actually think this makes a difference in college? Also, colleges will see what classes she took and no matter how many underwater basket weaving courses she got A's in she'll have a very difficult time getting into the top echelons of schools. $$$ will help that and she'll probably have no problem getting into a 2nd tier school, but who cares if she screws herself. She set a goal, parents and school backed her, now she's gonna hit it.

The "problem" is that she took the easy way out to achieve a relatively meaningless goal.
