I remember when I found a glitch in a poker sites software less than a year ago. When I registered for a tournament it didn't take out the vig. Then if I withdrew from the tourney it credited me back the buy-in plus the vig. So by simply registering and unregistering I could make the vig as many times as I wanted.

I did it several times to verify what was happening, then wrote and called them to fix the problem before they lost there ass.

They gave me a hundred bucks.

Bodog is having some major cashier problems. They actually paid me a cashout twice of about $1800.00. When the 2nd payment (check) showed up I called it in too, they actually gave me 20.00 bucks for my honesty.

Dear Mr. Tclckc,

Thank you for contacting Bodog Customer Service to bring this to our
attention. We
have forwarded the issue to the appropriate department, and we thank
you for your
honesty in destroying the check.

In compensation for the confusion and for your honesty, we have issue a
$20.00 bonus
into your Bodog account. Please enjoy a few wagers this week.

Should you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to
contact us.

Best Regards,
Customer Service

Call me old fashioned, but I subscribe to doing the right thing without asking for a reward.

I will have my team review this, but we don't usually pay someone for not stealing from us. The majority of our players would do what you did and get the mistake corrected. This puts you in a good catagory and you should be proud of that.

Thanks,

Calvin

What Calvin doesn't understand is that people who do the right thing expect the right thing to also be done reciprocally. I absolutely would have expected a fair reward, because giving a fair reward is also the right thing to do. For Calvin to get holier than thou and preach at OP that he should be happy simply because he's one of the good guys is absurd.

Also Calvin should learn to spell check his emails.

sorry for bumping an ancient thread but I just couldn't resist.

Just donk it off randomly to TONS Of players...but make sure to dump like 20-30K to people you "knew"...then they'd just cut you in after they did cover play etc.

[/ QUOTE ]

yea, next time give here a note and there will be bunch of full NL10.000 tables where you can donk off like $500.000 (few consecutive all-ins and you play NL100.000 in fact).
Then dump the rest to your friends (more then one obviously).
Maybe they even let you go with your initial stack ($1.000) because now the Bodog would be the most popular site by a second

OP isn't weaktight. OP is an ultra-nit (isn't it that suspected PS player who plays 2/2 )

I'm surprised at how many poker players here advocate cheating, in any form.

it has been discussed elsewhere. The price is just too high for common people to retain theirs virginity.

I suspect Mother Terese would do (can you imagine the thousands of children she could save?).

that threads makes me really sad also. Because I'm never the winner. At least we have something to dream on - it's like the lottery

theres a few obvious plays here,

one of them would be to immediately transfer 1k to a friend for safe keeping in the event the rest of your plan doesn't work out.

Then as another safety precaution dump around 50k to 3 diff friends at higher stakes 6 max tables as well as dumping off around another 200k to random players at random stakes. Then wait a few days and see if anything has happened to your account.

If not, proceed to do cash outs of around 50-60k a month (random amounts, not $30k every first of the month) until all is out. Then go invest.
