Default dual citizenship taxes

I know that if you are simply an American citizen, the only way to get out of paying taxes on something like poker winnings if you move to england is to renounce your citizenship. however, I am a citizen of america as well as england...does this mean that if all of my income came while i was in england, i would not have to pay taxes to US?

You still pay taxes to the US if you're a US citizen. But I believe you have an international deductible of 70k. Number may have changed.

Hello, i actually came here to ask something similar, does this apply to US citizens going to UK, or US citizens going anywhere? My partner play poker and is in New zealand with me for 6 months. would she need to pay tax in the US?
