Re: 50/100 bottom set, dry board OOP
Double gutted feelings flopping a set here and then having such a hard time finding out how to milk it the most. I think pushing here is way better than cold calling to lead any turn. Im assuming you all know each other up there, and i dont really see how they can not put you on a huge hand if you cold call OOP on a somewhat dry board. Given the volatility and aggression of these games, im leaning towards pushing.

Re: 50/100 bottom set, dry board OOP
You have to call and fake block the turn. This is why leading in a multi pot is so much better cause any call or raise signifies so much strength on this board. I'd really be praying UTG folds too to make your turn play go smoother.

Call and lead turn does not look weak at all. It looks stronger than call and check IMO.

Re: 50/100 bottom set, dry board OOP
the flop cold call already looks strong. but if you had JJ for some reason, or 99 or whatever, you wouldn't check the turn.

Re: 50/100 bottom set, dry board OOP
it looks strong but it doesnt always have to be a set. it could be a hand you are folding to a raise.

This isn't Durr/aba HU here, it's a bunch of pretty good, agressive players... and then me. |
