[ QUOTE ]
Just moved upto $10NL, I multi-table(9). I have PT but have still to get PAHUD.

Quick question,

When a short stack ($2 20bb) open raises (standard 40) and it is folded to you with players still to act. What is your hand range to raise (assuming we are either rr or folding - never calling here right? unless trapping an aggro player to our left)

1) an unknown player?
2) a tight player?
3) a loose player?

Noticed noone answered this.

I'm no Noob either, but I saw someone mention this.

The BB/100 box in PT, do I need to have the box checked on the preferences tab or have it unchecked. When it's unchecked it is a smaller number, I assume that this is the one that everyone is using?

I just want to be able to compare apples to apples, Thx!

This is a matter of preference, I guess, but the standard is to have it unchecked, and talk about PTBB/100, or Poker Tracker Big Bets per 100, rather than Big Blinds/100. Big Bet = 2 X Big Blind.

Yeah, I always thot it "funny" that the standard is 2X the big blind. Doesn't make sense to me. Plus there is that confusion thingy because some will say they are making 6.2BB/100 (like me) and you REALLY can't tell if they are making 6.2 or 12.4 or 3.1 unless they are specifically calling out 6.2ptBB/100

BTW, can you guess as to whether I am either:
6.2ptBB/100 or 6.2BB/100 ?

Apparently, it's an artifact of PT being written for Limit where the Big Bet = 2 X Big Blinds makes more sense, since the bet size increases on later streets. For some reason, NL just kept going with the convention.
