I find myself in situations sometimes where I am being aggressive and an opponent assumes the responsibility of coming over top of all of my raises.

As a matter of fact, I posted a hand in the April nit-chat thread from today where I raised it to 4bb with 67s and the button re-popped it to 12bb and I called.

I think there is a lot of meta-game considerations with this play. In essence, you are telling villian to not [censored] with you cuz you crazy. I like it.

This is exactly what you were hoping to flop and I definitely like the check-raise. I hope we either sucked out on him or he folded and we showed the bluff.

I know $67 is 2/3 of a BI, and I know this push has major fold equity, but I don't think $67 is enough. I mean if it were $100 more, ABSOLUTELY.

I have him at 19.24/11.29 over 10,000+ hands, so a 3bet and potted c-bet don't always mean he's got it like some obviTAGs. Further, flop AF > 7.5!

He's punked me countless times, so if I were in this situation with $120+ behind, INSTAPUSH.

As played, he's calling with AA or KK, if not set of Js...AKh?

I think that's the point. There are lots of hands that are ahead of us that we can get him to fold.

Right, that's what I mean by "fold equity". A push here isn't likely getting a call by QQ, obviously any gutshot, nor AK or KQ (unless maybe they are the suited hearts).

What I am saying is that I don't think (and you may disagree) that he would correctly fold AA or KK (to a represented set) in this situation against bottomset.

I have 36% equity vs AA or KK, 27% vs JJ, AK[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 18%

I highly doubt he folds AA, or KK here, nor should he
