i was saying if the turn is an over then bet $12 and button pushes for $17 and the SB can only call or fold but then i remembered that thats only applicable if hes already acted once on this street.

I think Pacific Poker used to have this rule. They're retarted. I think the problem with this hand is that even if you're ahead, there's almost no really safe turn cards. Forgeting the hearts even, everything puts a straight up there or is an overcard, and with a combo draw, SB is more likely to hit any of these cards. The only plus is that if you check the turn and button shoves, you get to see what SB does before you act, so at least you've got good relative position here.

Does this feel like an omaha hand to anyone else? Probably ahead but with little way to improve, and almost every card could help the other people in the pot. Originally I thought call and then evaluate on the turn, but I now can't see the turn allowing you to shove, plus you could already be being beaten (although I can't see someone cold calling short stacked with 10+).

By the way what did you mean by call locked

you bet, a shortstack shoves but its less than a full raise, another player calls, you aren't allowed to rereaise, just call or fold, as the shove wasn't a full raise

If button is a donk like me who doesn't reraise preflop with TT/JJ your 9's are in trouble. Lots of draws and 2 cards to come don't look good either. Next, whats the deal with the SB?

I would think this is a fold.

BTW, you guys do a great job of discussing these hands. Helps me put alot of this stuff together when at the tables.
