I would of 4 bet the turn to see where he was at. Then bet the river for maximum value. He was raising a lot and I was not convinced he had a J on the flop. I def. did not think he had 2 pair or trips. This is the results - villian (small blind) mucked [9c Js]Seat 6: hero(big blind) showed [8s 6c] and won ($22) with a full house, Sixes full of Eights

Maybe. If this opponent plays draws aggressively, I like the flop raise, you especially might get a better 8 in MP out of the pot.

After that, with this board, I think there really isn't much question about what to do with your hand.

The questions might be, what do you do, if you don't improve, he check raises the turn, instead of betting out?

How about if you get threebet on the turn?

Or the river, are you going to put in four bets?

You could also use one of the hand converters, or maybe convert your hand from hand history format, so it is a little easier to read.

How does capping the turn see where he is at? He can't go five bets, and he certainly isn't folding.

true, but he had folded on the turn for 4 bets before so I felt like I had him at that point. He was very aggro with high card or bottom pair. I felt once I had the 2 pair on the turn I was a sure winner, and the 6 on the river was a bonus.
