Help! I just can't get myself to push ATC...

I just can't seem to break on through to the other side and allow myself to push junk like 96o and 64o, even when SNGWiz says that it is profitable. I guess this concept of pushing ATC in certain situations still seems very counterintuitive to me. Can anyone offer some advice to help me get over this fear and trust ICM??

Move down (if you can) and push where you might not want to but SNGPT says it's profitable. That way, if you get called and lose, it doesn't hurt so much, but you should notice a difference and get over the fear.

it helps to do it a lot, and try to understand how little other people want to bust, or lose a ton of chips if they call you and lose. without a big hand calling is scary to most.
however, its not TOO often you have to push total trash. in some of those spots you have a huge chips lead anyways.
if you know something is +ev, why dont you want to do it [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

I would assume you are playing one table at a time, its a lot easier if you are playing more [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

- definitely. Also just playing more in general gets you really used to it.
