what are you thinking villian has in this hand?? I think 8/9 is more likely then K/Q and he hit his straight on the river. I see his turn bet as a blocking bet trying to see the river cheaply. My question to you is why are you betting the river to begin with when its a scare card.Coin flip if im calling this bet as it could easily be 2 pair as well. Raising this preflop is a better way to play this hand.

Lead this tunr out, there is nothing scary about it, also consider rr on the flop, your hand is good at this point, so protect.

The reason I called the flop was to go for the c/r on the turn as I did - this villain seemed somewhat aggro, so I was trying to use that against him a little. After I execute my plan and he doesn't slow down, I'm worried about the straight, or thinking maybe he hits trips and likes 'em.

Oh, and river bet was my attempt at a blocking bet...planning to fold to the raise as I did - but still kinda wanting to showdown. I thought if I checked, villain pushes in much more than 1/2 the pot...

pf: I raise this lightly most of the times, 2/3 pot.

I pot flop, dont give villain too much implied odds for a possible gutshot. As Played I re-reraise to $20, folding to a push/raise.

AP - lead turn for 2/3 pot. If called check/fold most bets on river. Fold to a push/raise.

AP - certainly fold to river reraise. I make blocking bets 1/3 pot .
