I too would c/r allin on turn. I'd expect most villains to call with TT-QQ. Who folds overpairs?

I expect to see AA a decent amount of time though.

like what, as a bluff?

edit: because that would be pretty sick

like as a bluff my ass, he put him on AK for sheezy i raise the flop or cr ai on this blank turn villain could be very easily betting the Ace high flush here as well as various crap, its not the same for villains as it is for us when coming to calling three bets

1) the AK thing was kind of a joke, but villain could easily be thinking "hey he checked must be whiffed AK I'll just fire two huge bets he can't call"

2) the problem isn't what hands we're ahead of, it's what hands we're ahead of that call a crai here with like another $171 left to call. I don't play in these games yet though so maybe I'm way off here, but what is he putting you on except a really big hand when you take this line?

Most people at 1/2 aren't good enough to make those bet sizes with AA/sets.

[/ QUOTE ]

Whenever I get 3-bet and then checked to and I have AA or a set or two pair, I just pot it and wait for the inevitable crai.

What "resistance" is there in any of this hand by villain? Hero made a reraise and then played like a pussy postflop. Doesn't there have to be some further agression from Hero in order to say that villain is "resisting" here?

I don't really get what your "friend" was trying to do here.

Why are we checking that flop? A beautiful flop to keep an overpair in the hand. Just lead the flop.

How do you not lead flop here? That is by far the best way to get (a) value and (b) information.

This hand looks exactly like one I played when I first moved up to 2/4. I ended up checkraising allin on the turn and got called by QQ. I just don't see how you can fold KK here with that kind of action. I'm not sure the cr ai is the right play since you are 200 bb deep but folding shouldn't even be an option.
