[ QUOTE ]

Is this an angle shoot on Antonio's part to fish information. I believe he wouldn't have gone all in on the flop, I think he was playing a little scared money. He would have been in big trouble against Sammys hand. (Sammy a 80% favourite)

[/ QUOTE ]

Is it just me, or does the term "angle shoot" get misused a lot around here?

Or, maybe it is simply that I am not 100% on it.

I have always used this term to mean that a player is actually doing something unscrupulous, not merely standard gamesmanship.

Am I wrong?

No, it's not just you. Some just feel the need to insert cool poker lingo into their comments. Whether the usage is remotely close to proper is really secondary to the opportunity to sound knowledgeable.

I always take "angle shoot" to mean deliberately doing something that violates the spirit of the rules but doesn't actually violate the letter of them.

Blabbering about what you might have done in a hand after it's over doesn't even come close to qualifying.

I made a comic about the big pot from this episode but can't find a way to paste pictures here. If it is possible I would like to hear it.

Anyway, here it is: http://nl.pokernews.com/poker-forum/topic36009/

Someone should animate those images into a little movie.

[/ QUOTE ]

I made a movie out of it just for fun. View here:

Would it be acceptable for PA and Gold to split the pot according to odds? Or would that be considered bad etiquette or bad tv?

[/ QUOTE ]

They could ask to run it 44 times. It's equivalent.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm thinking 32 times is the max, unless you included cards folded by the other players.

Why run it twice when u have odds calculators?
Give JG 23% of the pot and give PA the rest. It really doesn't make sense. You can still do a rabbit peel if you want.

Pretty sure he's wrong about that too. I can't get HSDB to work for me right now, but just 4 months ago he was up at around 500k, and i'm pretty sure those games haven't run much since.
