Um, no, but I don't understand the question. Are you asking if we care because it's Melvin and Wedge instead of higher profile managers, or if we care about the award in general? Either way the answer should be no.

This is what I thought you were going for. There's no good reason to care about baseball managers in the first place, seeing as they have almost no impact on the game.
