fwiw, it's very unseasonably nice in Boston right now.

Saturday forecast: high of 72, low of 51, AM showers
Sunday: high of 74, low of 53, sunshine

also fwiw, I expect a much louder crowd than in games 1 and 2. the games are bigger, and people won't be huddled under blankets.

Just a reminder for Sox fans. If we win on Sat/Sun and go to the WS Rockies home tix go on sale on Monday. I will likely try to get tickets for both the first two COL home games and fly out for them since it is way easier then even getting near Fenway even though I live in the damn city.

I know a guy with season tickets that is getting tickets on lower level by first base taht got offered $2500 a ticket today.

New Avatar for Game 6:

I give you Becks/Lofton

Once again, if someone can host it elsewhere it would be much appreciated. I am going to try to shrink the file size real quick too.

I like this friendly jibe from the Plain Dealer about the incident:

"...Not being able to touch Beckett cost them the game.

Kenny Lofton came the closest when he argued with Beckett after a fly ball to left field in the fifth. It is a baseball tradition that both bullpens must come running when the benches empty.

Nothing happened. The only noteworthy aspect of the incident is that it's believed to be the first time in the American League Championship Series the Sox bullpen reached the pitcher's mound without its ERA going up."
