Default Big loses (limit poker)

Over the last few months I noticed that my bigest loses were usually to the worst players that got very lucky.

Now I droped alot to some spew maniac that 4bet almost every hand on various streets and got insanly lucky.

Is this a rule that the bigest downswings are mostly to bad players??

PS.

I perfectly aware that being agressive is the right way to play short-haned limit but if someone 4bets always its just spewing and not being agro.

Variance would suggest that your experience is to be expected.

The better a player the less likely they are to be in a position where they will benefit hugely from improbable good luck because that would imply they had invested heavily in a position where there was little chance of their winning.
