Default KQ from SB vs. decent UTG raise

26/19 UTG no reads besides reasonable stats. 5 handed

UTG raise Folded to us in the SB. WE coldcall KQo. I don't mind a fold or a 3-bet here but I coldcalled wich I don't mnd either. BB folds

Flop is TJ2 rainbow. UTG bets Hero...?

I'd like to hear wich lines you use in this spot oop against decent opponent.

Definite CR on the flop your hand is too strong not to. If villian smooth calls flop I intend to fire both street UI

see this is my standard line aswell. However I don't see us having any FE. It's not like AQ/AK are going anywhere. and since this is and UTG raise we are very likely to be meet by a 3-bet.

Sure our hand is very strong but I can name close to none UTG raisable hands that we are ahead of. Thus I think c/c, c/c is the most EV line here.

I don't see 77, 88, 99 calling and I for one wouldn't call with AQ, AK to a significant c/r in villains spot. Those hands only got 4 sure outs and hitting the A och K could be costly for them being up to AJ, KQ and hands like that so I see some folding equity.

lol, clicked into the wrong section of the forum... figured this for a NL-hand. pls ignore this post.

c/c, c/c, c/f looks fine to me here.

Yeah I really think this is the better EV line simply because we won't make any costly mistakes that way. All the other lines get costly quite often.

You have a big draw, the only costly mistake you can make is letting AQ or 88 showdown without a sweat

There are a few hands like A8s that will probably give up if you make a play at the pot. Possibly an underpair too, depending on how he plays.

so it's worthwhile to check/raise just to punish 66-99 and A8s + A9s..?

However gehrig's post about not making AQ showdown easy is something I need to think about ashe willl have AQ/AK here a lot.

That's probably the key consideration here -- whether can get your opponent to fold AK/AQ/KQ if you keep pushing on all streets.
