Pre-Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (UTG)
<font color="red">Hero raises to $1</font>, MP folds, CO calls $1, 3 folds

Flop: ($2.35) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $2</font>, <font color="red">CO raises to $4</font>

Do I reraise, or flat call? I was worried about facing a set and him shoving a reraise...

I reraise pot here and call a push... the minraise is suspicious, but I think we are ahead here often enough to make it profitable.

Minraises piss us all off because we KNOW that folding is bad (it gives our opponent way too good odds on his bluffs) but we also know that we're beaten most of the time when we've got air.

In this case, I think a good play is to smooth-call and then donkbet ANY turn for $6 or $7. At that point your opponent will fold quite often. If you're raised again you can evaluate the situation: if the turn paired you up or finished your flush, go ahead and three-bet push -- it's no longer an overbet. If not, you might still have proper odds to continue fishing for your flush. If the turn blanked and your opponent check-raised large enough to deny you chasing odds, then go ahead and fold.

There! Now you've got a plan.

Thanks. Of course, I reraised pot, called the push against his set and didn't get there... :-P
