Pokertracker question, importing missing hands

Hi!
I've had connection problems playing FTP ringames and there are hands missing as a result of that if I ask FTP to send me the complete handhistories and import those will that work fine and just add in the missing hands without screwing up my database?

Sorry if this is a dumb question or if its been answerd before before
