I emailed stars asking about this a few days back, they said they have no timeframe on how long eChecks would be down because theyre having delays in debiting peoples accounts.

My guess is that Star's Echecks processor has been banned by whatever US institution was providing their link to the ACH/EFT system. No US institution wants to violate UIGEA. I was very surprised that Echecks was re-instituted, for this very reason.

I guess they are, seeing how on Sept. 1st I used their service and my bank account has yet to show a debit.
It's so weird, netellar wouldn't give me my money back, and now echecks won't take my money.

once you receive the email saying the money hsa been moved to your "eChecks Account" there's nothing PS can do. I did one cashout and hadn't received it yet (before there were problems). I then did another cashout and once I figured out there were problems I asked them to cancel the second one. But it was too late.

Has the US players FAQ for pokerstars real money been updated. It says echecks was discontinued January 17, 2007, but I was alerted by Pokerstars that it was available and I used it within the past month. What is the deal?

Well actually got some good news from support. I emailed them about my cashout requests from Thursday.

"Thank you for contacting us.

We are still waiting more information from our processing regarding the
status of these transactions and we hope to have an answer within the next
day or two. However, we cannot say for sure how fast the problem is going
to be solved. We expect that cashouts that are pending to be processed will
be processed successfully once everything is back to normal.

In order to avoid unnecessary delays for you, I have reversed the cashouts
as you have requested. You will find both $XXX and $XXX back in your
PokerStars account at this time.

Please let us know any time we may be of further assistance.

Regards,

Anna
PokerStars Support Team"
