Default $109 DS- Is it weak to c/f this turn?

Not sure if this belongs in HSMTT b/c it doesn't seem so advanced so I posted it here.

No reads. Stars $109 (3k Chips). I'm mostly a cash player but I suck at freezeouts because I struggle with postflop play in these low blind first hour situations, though I have no problem in the 2nd/3rd hour of rebuys.

A couple of questions:
1.) Is this check bad?
2.) Is folding weak?
3.) If I call, what types of rivers am I blocking/vbetting?
4.) What rivers am I checking/evaluating and how much can I call?

It seems rather week, but it might not be bad ,he doesnt want to control the potsize so he might have hit something nicely.
You should post this in the 'High Stakes MTT', you'll probably get a more usefull reply

I think this check is bad because you are leaving the door open for him to bluff. If he called with AJo he made a very bad play calling the flop raise, and even calling pre-flop. KQ is a likely possibility however, we don't know where we are at. I would have bet around half the pot on the turn, if he re-raised us then it would be an easy muck. I would probably put him on something like QQ, KK, TT, KQ, or maybe something like KJ, QJ, or JJ. Playing as you did, I wouldn't consider folding weak because we have no idea where we are in this hand, and you might as well save some chips for a better spot. IMHO I am not vbetting any river, I would probably check call no matter what came. I don't really use block bets too often and, honestly don't really no yet how to use them properly so I can't comment on that. On the river I wouldn't be calling anything more than 1/2 the pot.

I like the check, and would call with the plan to check/call the river.

Unless you have an incredible read, check/folding the turn is very weak.

hey alex... i used to post over at pokerforums. It's nice to see you here, too.

IMHO, I don't like giving up the lead on the turn. The Q could have improved his hand to two-pair or a straight, but I think you're just guessing whether that's the case by giving him control of the hand. I'd bet into him again, see what he does, and make my decisions from there.

You get more information/value if you bet so I make a 2/3 pot size bet here. River card might be tricky whether to fire again but I usually check boards like that cuz a worst hand really isn't calling unless KJ decides not to let it go.
