I hope I'm wrong, but I have serious doubts about any Wii game that is also going to be on another platform. To me, that signifies that the game was not designed around motion controls, but that the motion shifts simply replace button presses. It can work, for example, I think Madden control is pretty sweet, but I don't think it's anything to get excited about.

I didn't play the second one (heard it wasn't as good), but the first Metroid Prime was ridiculously incredibly great.

2nd one is basically a rehash of the first one. that being said i think the 2nd is harder/more annoying.

Same here. But I'll definitely be getting all three of these titles.

I'm so ridiculously excited about all these games, even bowling lol. I just wish my Super Paper Mario would ship already, it's been like a month or more since I ordered it. If anyone knows a reliable international shipper for NTSC Wii games and accessories, shoot me a PM.

we know of Mario Kart...and Wii Fitness...and Animal Crossing, Endless Ocean, No More Heroes, Project HAMMER, Wii Motor Sports

but before last week, we didn't even know about Mario Kart, so i'm sure there will be PLENTY more...it's still 6 months away, after all

i'm predicting a Mario Tennis and Mario Golf to come out

and of course there will be hundreds of 3rd party games

possibly; they've shifted resources to other things, but it isn't confirmed dead; just in hibernation; if they don't have enough other games to work on, they'll put more resources on it, so if it's dead its because other games are coming out; either way, there will be plenty of games from Nintendo in 2008 for Wii, along with hundreds from 3rd parties

I'm not concerned about them producing anything good before next summer or so. I can't imagine the big 3 plus Mario Kart not being able to occupy me until then. If those games create more publicity for Wii (and they should), that only enhances the chances of a solid '08 list of offerings.

The pre-order for Super mario galaxy is already ranked as the #15 best-selling video game item at amazon.com. Pretty amazing if you ask me, considering the release date is not even until mid-November.
