Default Re: FD+OESD Call Turn ?

This is a limped pot, so everybody can have anything. Probably most people have nothing. You have 9 cards that make your flush and 3 other cards that make a straight. I am going to assume that all my outs are good. This means we have quite a good hand. In that case I don't want somebody else to steal the pot, since I don't have odds to call a psb based on pot odds alone. I take initiative and bet 0.60 on the flop. The turn gives us maybe 4 outs more, so I bet again if called. Adding the very likely presence of fold equity, I think this line is +EV.

Summary: your line is way too passive IMO.

Lead flop. 3bet allin big if raised.

That failed, lead turn. That failed, c/r turn.

Get aggressive with your combo draws . . . folding equity + the fact that you are NEVER crushed = a very profitable situation to play hard and fast.

so wrong. combo draws are awesome but not the nuts. someone could have a higher fd or better draw than you.

they're just rarely crushed. the situation you described doesn't occur that often specially in a limped pot.

also, OP lead out, be more aggressive.
