lol well i feel dumb now, they just moved the channel from 103 to 265, why i don't know. And I just realized they added a tennis channel and a nhl channel as well, maybe comcast isn't half bad, yeah sorry for this thread, whatever.

Not sure if this is a level, but he's like a computer geek so he was going to provide some of his own stuff (wires and stuff? I'm not good with computers, sorry) to make it cheaper and it was just chaos. They kept bringing stuff out he didn't need and charging him for it. He went into their office one day and there were 20 people in line (at 2:30pm on a weekday) and 2 workers, both of whom he described as "slow, and very dumb" "One just got up and left when a guy was yelling at her." etc.

Also I won't give away what his name is but I'll code what they did with his name.

Let's say his name is Michael Podesta, they've got it down as Odesta Peter. Instead of Michael Posesta. Odesta Peter. El Oh El.

They did this to me about 6 months ago. I was pissed, because it was the day that ESPN classic was going to start showing American Gladiators. I called comcast and told them to cancel my cable service. They countered with an offer to reduce my cable bill by ~30% which I accepted.

In Center City Philadelphia, Classic has been moving from 71 to 265 and back every few months for the last year or so.

No idea why, and I only notice it when my TIVO tells me I have a channel update.

Yea, similar thing for me, except it was much simpler like instead of Peter Smith, they put Peters J. Smith, just random and nonsensical. I called to correct the error and I would have to go through paperwork to remove a gd "s" from the end of my first name.

Same here. I'm in memphis, where comcast recently took over from Time Warner. Comcast is so crappy that they can't even get the plan to [censored] all over everything right. So far, everything is basically the same as it was before. Eventually they'll get their [censored] together and [censored] it up good.
