Pot-committed. how to play?

Playing a MTT Live tournament.
87 players, 18 players left... top 10 paid
1/2k blinds; 100 ante.
Average stack 29k...my stack with the current blind im in 10,200.

BB with K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] -J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

UTG raises to 5k ( TAG )
Hijack calls ( LAG )
Button calls ( very solid )
SB folds

What would you do here???

u r so short here wit this action i think u have to get it in here and hope for the best. I dont see how u can fold and leave less than 5 bbs left. I would get it in here and hope that i get lucky and triple ur stack as ur prolly getn action from both players in the pot

well, since there doesn't seem to be much of a response yet... ill post what i did, and maybe i will get criticism on that instead.

I smooth-called the raise, leaving myself 5200 with the intent to stop-n-go on any board except one with an ace. I figured this way I could get to go head-up with my hand or somehow miracously win the pot outright ( even though not very likely ).

Anyone like that idea or not so much?

I fold. Not enough chips to get people to fold, and your stack will still be big enough to get tight blinds to fold if you can be first in. I don't like a stop and go against 3 players.

I would just shove it in PF and hope for the best. If everyone calls and you win you will be up to 45K.

I understand why you did what you did, but with that pot on almost any board (without an ace etc) you are getting looked up by someone with ace high. You either have to fold or push preflop, and personally I'd just get it in preflop, you are behind but the pot will be 40k and put you right back into the thick of things if you win.

i would just fold stop and go might work against 1 person but def not 3. i think folding and hope everyone folds to your SB were u can shove on TAG. shoving is not to bad a play since theres alot in pot and it could put u in good position but i think 8 away from the $ i prefer to shove on tight players rather than call there UTG raise
