im a beginner too.. but i think a fold here is sooo terrible. i would call and see the flop u get 3:1 i think theres a great chance that u have the best hand here

on this level i normally just call with jacks and call a raise under 4bb.

and i often get pushed allin with AT AJ KQ etc.. and even with AK AQ u have a coinflip. they have a 60% chance to not hit the flop... so if the flop is all rags u are favorite most of the time.. its possible that im talking [censored] but.... just my opinion

Ok thank you for your answers.
Actually i dont make this fold very often but ive seen "playing tight early is so important" on this forum that i kinda tighten my game too much i guess.
Ill get back to the see the flop technique.

my 3-bet range in 6max includes 89s and other fun cards. way to go on folding the winner.

edit:

oops, my 3-bet range in sit n gos doesn't include 89s, but this is still horrible.

Early or late, if you fold JJ to one simple raise when only 3 hands beat you and the villain could be raising with a range of 50+ hands, then your best play should be to not enter the tournament and save the money instead.

ive never played a 13 6 man but in the 39 and 78 6 mans the aggression factor warrants at LEAST a call here, but since we're oop readless vs a minraising donk I'd probably just shove the first time.

bad. jacks are way too strong, even in 9 man sngs ill open raise them from pretty much any position at any level (with limping incorporated as part of a balanced strategy)
