100NL Flopped Set. Stay Agg?
No real read on villain besides for stats of 19/3/4.4 over about 200 hands.
I believe villain is fully capable of only calling my big PF raise with QQ. Not sure if he would call with 10/10 or below. Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 8 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) Hero (SB): $137.40 BB: $106.35 UTG: $34.80 UTG+1: $57.90 MP1: $51.25 MP2: $160.80 CO: $31.30 BTN: $58.50 Preflop: Hero is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (8 Players) UTG calls $1.00, UTG+1 calls $1.00, MP1 calls $1.00, 3 folds, Hero raises to $9.00, BB calls $8.00, 3 folds Flop: ($21) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero bets $15.00 Should I bet more on the flop, less, go for check raise? |

Re: Flopped Set. Stay Agg?
I bet about 3/4th pot here as well.
Check Raising screams monster, so don't do that. The board is too draw heavy to check/call and essentially give free cards. |

Re: Flopped Set. Stay Agg?
I thought it was 1/2 until I went to look at stacks and was like "wtf is going on?" That said, preflop seems a little excessive. Flop, however is very standard.

Re: Flopped Set. Stay Agg?
Checking a head's up drawy flop after a PFR looks very fishy. Just play it like you would a whiffed AK and hope BB really likes his TT, or better yet, flopped a smaller set.

Make it $7 PF. Anything but betting the flop sucks, IMO.

Re: Flopped Set. Stay Agg?
this is how u stack someone....leading out w a monster.
if they stick around on the flop/turn, they're usually committed and voila! u won a full stack by betting in chunks. esp. true if u have an aggressive image and would smash most flops with a cbet. checkraising is a wack move that donks love to pull off because its fun but usually only wins u villians flop bet. u want to play for stacks with top set. |
