Default Possibly Dumbest Question Ever... Yale Vs. USC

Yup pretty simple, full tuition scholarship to USC. SO just 11k a year for room and board. Yale will be the full 45k a year so i'll prob need to take out lots and lots and lots and lots of student loans since parents make too much for fin aid and don't wanna pay for college.

This prob matters, i plan on going into IBanking after college and i know Yale will simply be awesome for this but im the type of guy who likes to party and well USC was my backup safety school and i mean its a [censored] paradise of hott girls. But id be stupid for going to USC over Yale right?

I think this is actually a really tough choice, I mean a full ride is a full ride and USC isn't bad. Are *you* gonna take out loans, or parents?

I wouldn't worry about partying that much, Yale would be fine for that. I think I say Yale, but its really close. The long term is what it's all about, and I think Yale is just better for that.

Go to Yale, hands down.
Not even a question, in my opinion.

I had the same possibility and choose Penn over USC full-ride, so obv I'd say Yale. I got some good financial aid though, dunno your situation.

If its free vs. full price, very tough call.

Where do you want to live post-grad?

Plan on going to law school or anything?

One thing to think about is USC would still be 11k a year. Alot cheaper for sure, but not free by any means.

I think the nod goes to Yale here. Especially if you know you want to do Ibanking. The banks just pluck from Ivys.

I'm at USC and I voted that you... Go to USC!

To offer a slight air of objectivity, I'm a Junior and I have a few friends that are starting to land some pretty sweet IB internships. I don't know how things are at Yale, but the "Trojan family," as the administration loves to call it, is actually pretty damn strong and you shouldn't have a difficult time getting internships and jobs if you are smart (which you obviously are) and do well in your courses.

Also, Los Angeles is really fun.

Post Grad i wouldnt mind living in either Cali or the Northeast, more likely NE b/c i want to go into IBanking. SO again Yale wins here i believe. Also Law school or going back for a MBA are very real possibilities.
