Re: 50NL: Outplayed? Coolered? KK vs 35/13/1 on uggo river
[ QUOTE ]
Bet 25 on the turn, shove river. [/ QUOTE ] I never know proper bet-sizing in 3-bet pots. Do you still bet 90%-pot on drawy flops in 3-bet pots? $25 on the turn seems like a lot as well, I can't see any hand calling that we beat....? |

beting size?? Just think of it in terms of pot you'll be laying him. Betting the pot is 1:2, half 1:3..... If you want to give improper odds for a flush draw then bet so.

I agree bet 3/4-4/5ths pot on flop and 4/5ths pot on turn and you have a big enough equity advantage to put the rest in on the river. KK beats made hands here too IMO which is why I'm not worried about him "calling with a hand that beats us".

Re: 50NL: Outplayed? Coolered? KK vs 35/13/1 on uggo river
flop betsize is fine - this is a re-raised pot and we have less than a 100bb stack to play with.
bet more on the turn ($25 is good) - shove the river. as played call - it's a half pot bet and he rarely has a flush as Axhh is now unpossible - players seem to view 3 flush boards as good bluffing spots so I think he'll be bluffing more often here than the one time in four we need to break even. |
