Awesome post. I agree with WhoIAm about being a fellow reader of The Drunkard. Reminded me of the convention they had in Vegas this year, the weekend right before the WSOP, first time I ever heard of them and was coerced (yeah, RIGHT) into attending. Best.Time.Ever.

Great advice but I must ask don't you accept coca cola as a mixer if over 50% of the volume is vodka? I mean that's the only way I would use it. Too [censored] bad otherwise.

Dead on there Skoob. Having been raised by an alcoholic and bartending for over 12 years, i can say that with a degree of authority, real or imagined.
RED BULL IS THE BANE OF MY EXISTENCE.
SO IS THE FUKN JAEGER MACHINE.
However, thinking that you can cover up the smell of your breath with whatever when your drinking heavily is a symptom of being a pro drunk. WE CAN SMELL IT COMING OUT OF YOUR PORES. don't worry about the breath hot shot
have another shot of old crow.
Lastly, no bartender should ever cut off anyone because of the size of there tab. Any bartender worth their salt will just chuck the apparent lack of drunkness up to use of meth, coke, acid etc... and continue taking the money but watching the situation with "a stiff upper eye".

I saw a post like this on another forum about a year ago. Six months ago, the guy died of alcohol poisoning, despite his tolerance and "experience."

I don't want to be your mom, but please don't be really stupid and drink until you die.

All you need to know about food is three little words: "Full English Breakfast" -- Designed and engineered for a nation of Alcoholics.

They'll grow up one day but all these girly cocktails... its kinda sad really.

Get 7 pints of real ale inside em followed by some decent scotch and chicken vindaloo washed down with with strong naff lager.

That would put some hair on their chests.
