Default NL$200| TPGK battle of the blinds

Villain is 28/25/4.5 ~ 170 hands and has been solid

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $197.20
Hero (BB): $472.10
UTG: $194.50
MP: $414.00
CO: $231.30
BTN: $203.70

Preflop: Hero is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 Players)
4 folds, SB raises to $6.00, Hero calls $4.00

Flop: ($12) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB bets $12.00, Hero calls $12.00

Turn: ($36) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB bets $22.00, Hero calls $22.00

River: ($80) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB bets $48.00

I can see some merit in a value raise on the flop but I don't think he calls with too many weaker hands and there are no draws. I preferred to call down here but by the river his line suggests he has my hand beat.

Looks like you're beat... missed FD isn't too likely because it's a backdoor.

I can't imagine 88-TT playing this way, which is about the only thing you might be ahead of.

If your calling the turn you have to call this river.

With a AF of 4.5 and your thinking he can 3 barrel/bet pp like this, then no problem with a call here at all.

i think you have to call here given villains stats and decent pot odds. id make a note immediately after this hand.

Fold turn often.
Definitely fold river.

This is a really, really bad board to be 3-barreling on, and he isn't going to be value-betting anything worse. Your hand looks like a queen, and his smallish river bet is just begging to be called. I think a solid player has you beat here almost all the time; the turn call is probably okay, but river is a definite fold I think.

I figured he'd potentially 2nd barrel the turn or even continue to value bet a weaker hand at that point. When he bet the river I figured I could only beat a stone cold 3-barrel bluff and he's always checking <Q10, JJ, etc. I folded to the river bet so unfortunately have no resolution on the hand.

I personally think folding the turn is a little on the weak side. A lot of players float in the blinds here with position and villain knows it, so I don't expect him to give up pushing a weaker hand through just on account of me calling his flop bet given my range could be massive.

You have to fold the river, a turn fold could be good some of the time when you have a better read

It definitely looks like he knows he has you on the hook after his flop bet size and then the subsequent bet sizes ... I'm tempted to call, and in BvB I don't think calling turn and folding this river is terrible if he bets again, which is what I'd actually probably do.
