ShaunDeeb,
I thought that same thing as well. In a 109fo it is closer. |

[/ QUOTE ] wait, what? if it is the rebuy-period but OP has no intention making a rebuy this is a super easy call. if he intends to make rebuys its a clear call as well. probably more clear in both cases than if it was a freeze-out. |

i dont see how this is a fold in any tournament, let alone a freaking rebuy, lol.

Re: Would u fold AKs preflop? - i did
I'm pretty sure this is a FO. The average stack size of 5500 is consistent with 3K starting chips after one hour. The time is almost 8PM, which would be consistent with the blinds levels of a tournament starting at 7PM, and there is a $100 FO at that time, but not a $100 rebuy.

in a 100fo it's an autocall as well unless it's a known player.

Re: Would u fold AKs preflop? - i did
Dear All,
ill try to summaries the post and the hand again i just looked back the tourn stats at PokerOffice and ill try to explain that why did i fold that, i made the post bc i have never folded AK preflop when there were not two or three allin before me. It happened like once or twice around the bubble. But now i was pretty sure that im making a good laydown. (not counting that i doubled up in the next hand with a floped nut flush). So my reasons were: 1. my saw flop was 17%, pfr was:14% (i was TAG) 2. i have never raised from SB 3. Deill was TAG too 4. its true that my 400 raise was a bit weak 500 would have been better, but at that table from me it represented enough strength or a trap, so they had to put me on JJ+ 5. i didnt count with the BB i played that hand against the limpers, so he screwed my original plan, and i when i loose the controll over the pot i like to fold and pick a nother opportunity to build my stack. 6. and Deill instant all-in showed not much fear so i felt like he has AA KK, i just had that feeling i know its a bit lame, but i had the read. 7. if he had AK too which is the more likely. he had the better position and with same cards the position has to win and one more thing. i do like better outplay my opponents than decide a tournament in a preflop battle. ty all the answers from the respected members. |
